Why can't they stay little?

I spent the evening going through old pictures of Sophie. I hate to say old, they are not even a year old. I remember all of them like it was yesterday, and even though I want her to grow up and become an individual. I find it tough not to want her as a baby again.

People don't exaggerate when they say "oh they grow up so fast ,take pictures". It's so very true! I remember how hard it was to get a photo when she was smaller. I would have to use props to get her to look like she was sitting up. Or how she always fell asleep on my chest when she was tired, or loved to be cradled when I fed her.

I miss those days. Now her Independence is starting to shine through, she wants to do things on her own. It's really hard looking back when it all happens so very fast.

Kiss them everyday and tell them you love them.
