My Birthday out with the girls

We had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating my 29th birthday. I was beginning to feel old all last week, and was dreading the day to come. After all was said and done it didn't even fase me. I don't feel older, I am much happier though. So maybe age comes with happiness. We learn and grow every year, RIGHT? Why not embrace it.

My mother (Sophie's grandma) took Sophia for an hour while I was pampered at the nail salon. She got a new leap frog drum at Target from grandma. It wouldn't be a grandma toy if it didn't make any noise.

Sophia loves it though. I am very proud of her for her behavior yesterday as well. She is so grumpy without a nap and she missed hers while we were out, however she was so very good the whole time. When we pulled in the driveway she just fell asleep. It was the cutest thing, I wanted a picture but I though maybe next time I didn't want to interrupt her late nap.

So my day out with the "Girls" was wonderful. I can't wait to bring Sophie on more fun days out with grandma. More days with her on my shoulders catching the wind in her pigtails, and more days just seeing her have fun and smile. It really it a great feeling to have children.
